Vivo Y29 4G at ৳24,799→The Meizu Lucky 08 is a high-spec gray-import device that offers impressive display and battery performance but comes with significant software and hardware compromises.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Living with this phone means dealing with aggressive background app management that frequently causes delayed notifications for messaging and social media. While the 6000 mAh battery and 144Hz LTPO AMOLED screen are standout features, the lack of OIS on the 108MP camera makes low-light photography difficult. Owners report that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset handles daily tasks well but tends to heat up during gaming sessions.
Because this is a gray-import unit, you must accept that there is no manufacturer warranty in Bangladesh. Repairs are entirely at the mercy of the shop where you purchase the device. You should also be aware that the software experience is hampered by a lack of Android updates and the absence of NFC support.
Pick the phone you actually want and the list narrows to the shops selling that exact thing. Stock, variant and colours are what each shop publishes for its own listing — not for the model as a whole.

The Meizu Lucky 08 delivers an unbelievable hardware package, boasting a flagship-tier symmetrical display and strong processor for a fraction of the expected price. However, buyers must accept significant compromises, including a dead-end software experience with no future updates, an underwhelming camera, and a complete lack of local replacement parts.

SamZone considers the Meizu Lucky 08 a disruptive release that offers specifications normally found in much more expensive phones, highlighting the premium symmetrical display and solid Snapdragon performance. However, they caution buyers about the heavily boosted camera colors, aggressive auto-brightness sensor, and the unfortunate reality that this device will likely never see a future Android update.
ATC praises the sheer hardware value, confirming that the global ROM successfully runs all local banking and payment apps without a hitch. While they loved the bloat-free software and massive battery life, they heavily criticize the camera's poor dynamic range and explicitly warn buyers to purchase at their own risk due to zero future software support and a complete lack of local replacement parts.
In a follow-up review after a month of use, SamZone remains highly impressed with the buttery smooth display and reliable gaming performance. They noted a minor software glitch with Messenger video calls on one unit and reiterated the frustrating lack of basic accessories like screen protectors in the local market, but still view it as a great budget buy for casual users.

Tech to the Point views the phone as an oasis for budget buyers, praising its top-notch build quality, symmetrical bezels, and crisp 1.5K display. While they acknowledge compromises like outdated WiFi 5, a weak macro lens, and the lack of an IP rating, they conclude the sheer hardware value makes it a highly recommended risk for those who prioritize performance.
Projukti highlights that this phone effectively delivers premium features at almost half the expected price, specifically praising the gaming capabilities and the massive 6000 mAh battery. They point out the older Bluetooth 5.1 standard and average portrait background detection as minor drawbacks to an otherwise incredibly strong hardware package.

shop warranty instead of brand warranty; confirm IMEI/BTRC status with the seller.
Meizu has little to no official service presence in BD — a gray unit that breaks is on the shop's mercy entirely.
Notification Delays — Aggressive background app management in Flyme OS frequently causes delayed notifications for messaging and social media apps.
Poor Low-Light Camera — The 108MP main camera lacks OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), resulting in blurry and grainy photos in low-light conditions.
Missing Hardware Features — The device omits an ultrawide camera lens, and lacks common utility features like NFC and an IR blaster.
No NFC support.

No, this phone does not have any manufacturer warranty in Bangladesh. Every unit is a gray import, meaning you must rely solely on the specific shop's promise for coverage. If the device breaks, you will have to pay for repairs yourself.
The battery life is a major highlight for owners. The combination of a massive 6000 mAh capacity and the efficiency of the LTPO display technology allows for long usage times. It currently holds an owner rating of 8.8 for battery performance.
Owners report a lack of Android updates for this device. Users have noted that the phone remains stuck on Android 14, and there is no clear path for future OS upgrades. You should expect very limited software support.
The camera performance in low light is poor. Because the 108MP main sensor lacks Optical Image Stabilization, photos taken in dim conditions often turn out blurry and grainy. It is not recommended for users who prioritize night photography.
