What the official set costs over the import
76 handsets across 13 brands sell here in both channels at the same RAM and storage. On that same box the official unit costs a median ৳11,509 more.
Only the same box is a fair comparison. On a 
Z Fold 6 the raw cheapest-official against cheapest-import gap is 143%, mostly because it sets 512GB against 256GB.

Where the lowest asking price fell
Two snapshots, 27 Sep 2026 against 28 Oct 2026, and what happened in between to the lowest price listed on one channel. Official is compared with official and import with import: when the cheap import sells out and the headline falls through to the official unit, a naive query reports a 150% rise and nothing moved.

How reliably the stock holds
Of the 458 handsets we recorded on at least 20 nights that a shop still carries, 264 had stock somewhere on every single night we looked. Another 192 went missing on fewer than one night in ten. Only 2 disappeared more often than that.

How these numbers are made
The rules every figure above obeys
- Like for like where we can hold the axes. The channel, shop and storage comparisons each hold every axis but the one they ask about: official against official, import against import, same configuration, same shop. Where an axis cannot be held (the movement figures, below) the page says so.
- Nights we looked, never days. We know what the shops published on the nights our read succeeded. A night we did not read is not a night a price held.
- Across configurations, not like for like. Our price history stores one number per channel per night, not one per configuration. So a cheap 128GB listing selling out reads as a rise, and a cheaper one appearing reads as a fall, on a phone whose configurations all held their price. Every movement figure here is the lowest asking price on a channel and is labelled as that. It is not a like-for-like price cut, which would need a per-variant history we do not keep.
- Rises are not published. Not because they survive that objection; they do not, and neither do falls. A fall points at something you can go and check today. A rise built the same way reads as news about a manufacturer price, and is not one.
- Noise floors, stated, and chosen by us. A move under 4% or 700 taka is dropped, a spread needs three distinct shops, a shop needs 25 comparisons before it is ranked, and a storage step needs eight observations. These are reporting thresholds that keep coincidences out, not tests of statistical adequacy: a figure that clears them can still be thin.
- We have not held any of these phones. This is a record of what Bangladeshi shops published, nothing more. How the rest of the site works.
