What works well4

6000 mAh battery lasts all day
Large 6.9‑inch 120 Hz LCD
Headphone jack for wired audio
Drop‑resistant build

Reported trade-offs4

eMMC storage is slow
T7250 processor lags in games
Fake secondary camera lenses
Outdated notch design

Why we say that

In everyday use the 6000 mAh cell keeps the screen on for most of the day and survives heavy chatting and video streaming. The 6.9‑inch 120 Hz LCD looks big but the notch feels old and the display brightness peaks at 780 nits, which is okay indoors but struggles in bright sunlight. The Unisoc T7250 chip paired with eMMC storage feels sluggish, especially in games and multitasking, and owners report noticeable lag.

The 50 MP main sensor is decent on paper but the two extra lenses appear to be fake, so low‑light shots are disappointing. Software runs on Nebula AIOS with medium bloat and only one or two Android updates, giving a poor security outlook. Overall the phone is usable for basic tasks but far from a smooth, future‑proof experience.

What reviewers said on YouTube

4 reviews · 99K views

The Nubia V80 Max offers outstanding multi-day battery life and a massive display in a tough shell, but its weak low-light camera, low-resolution screen, and sluggish processor make it difficult to recommend at full retail price.

Best for Budget buyers prioritizing battery endurance and a giant screen for casual streaming.

Tech to the Point concludes that while the Nubia V80 Max delivers reliable battery life, a gigantic 6.9-inch display, and a sturdy body, its asking price of ৳17,000 is tough to swallow given the entry-level Unisoc chipset, slow storage, and outdated dewdrop notch. The reviewer noted that performance struggles under heavy multitasking, the single speaker lacks depth, and the cameras suffer badly in low light. Overall, the channel views it as an acceptable option for simple daily use and casual video watching, but advises that it is only good value if purchased closer to 14,000 to ৳15,000.

nubia V80 Max Review | Only worth it when on sale? (opens YouTube)
12K views · Feb 2026
YugaTech found the Nubia V80 Max to be a durable everyday workhorse with standout 6,000 mAh battery endurance, but determined that it is severely overpriced at its standard retail price compared to the competition. The reviewer pointed out significant compromises, including an HD+ display limited to 720p streaming, slow memory that bogs down when full, unplayable heavy gaming, and soft low-light photography without video stabilization. They ultimately concluded that buyers should only pick up this phone if they can grab it during early-bird discounts or promotional sales.

Myke Soon shares an optimistic first impression of the Nubia V80 Max, highlighting its modern styling, solid drop-resistant construction, and expansive 6.9-inch 120Hz screen. He praises the 6,000 mAh battery and bypass charging feature for long media sessions, while noting the 50MP main sensor captures adequate images under good daylight. The reviewer concludes that the V80 Max makes for an accessible, approachable budget device ideal as a starter phone for students, seniors who need a large display, or anyone needing a dependable secondary handset.

Nubia V80 Max costs ৳17,999 in Bangladesh on official listings, in stock at 1 shop we track as of 28 Oct 2026.

How long does the battery last on daily use?

The 6000 mAh battery is the main highlight and owners rate it 8.7 out of 10. With moderate use such as browsing, messaging and video playback it easily lasts a full day, and it can stretch longer with light usage.

Will this phone handle mobile games smoothly?

The phone uses a Unisoc T7250 processor and eMMC storage, which owners describe as causing significant lag. Gaming performance is rated 2.8 out of 10, so demanding games will feel choppy and unresponsive.

Is the camera good for low‑light photos?

It has a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, but the two additional lenses are suspected to be fake. Low‑light results are basic and the camera rating is only 4.2 out of 10, so expect modest quality.

Does the phone come with an official warranty and how many updates will it receive?

Yes, the phone is sold through official channels and carries the brand's own warranty and service network in Bangladesh. Software updates are limited to one or two Android versions, and the platform has a poor reputation for timely security patches.
