Based on published reviews and owner reports.
What works well4
- 5000 mAh battery lasts a day
- 50 MP main camera captures detailed photos
- 90 Hz IPS LCD feels smooth
- Headphone jack for wired audio
Reported trade-offs3
- Software updates may stop soon
- ColorOS shows medium ads
- Display not as bright as AMOLED
Why we say that
The Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB RAM handle everyday apps and casual gaming without noticeable lag. The 6.56 inch IPS LCD runs at 90 Hz, giving smoother scrolling than standard panels, though it lacks the deep blacks of an AMOLED. Brightness peaks at 600 nits, which is adequate for most indoor lighting but may struggle in direct sunlight.
The 5000 mAh cell easily powers a full day of browsing, video streaming and calls, and the headphone jack lets you use wired earbuds. Photos are sharp thanks to the 50 MP main sensor, while the 8 MP selfie camera is serviceable for video chats. ColorOS 14 brings Android 14 upgrades, but being three years old the phone is likely near the end of its update cycle, and the OS includes a moderate amount of ads.

Overall it offers good value for its price, but don’t expect future software support.
