- Choose it if

Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well3
- Slim and light smudge-resistant matte design
- Generally runs cool during use
- Includes a headphone jack and FM radio
Reported trade-offs4
- Severe WiFi range and stability issues
- Low 720p display resolution
- Slow 18W charging takes two hours
- Poor video stabilization and processing
Why we say that
Living with this phone involves significant compromises, particularly regarding connectivity and display quality. Owners frequently report a severe drop in WiFi range, noting that the connection often fails if you are just 5 to 10 meters away from the router. The 720p resolution is noticeably low, especially when scrolling through social media apps.
While the matte design is slim and light, the internal performance is limited by a chipset that lags during heavy tasks and gaming. You should be aware that this is a 2022 model, meaning it has very little remaining software support. Most users find the camera output basic, with video footage lacking stabilization and appearing overly sharpened.

Given that the newer Vivo Y27s is available for nearly the same price, this older model is difficult to recommend for anyone seeking a reliable daily driver.
