Buying verdict
The Vivo Y500 is a battery-focused device that prioritizes endurance over raw performance or camera quality.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Owners report that the massive 8100 mAh battery provides industry-leading two-day endurance, which is the phone's standout feature. However, the Unisoc T7300 chipset struggles with heavy loads and gaming, leading many users to feel the device is overpriced for its internal hardware. The software experience is mixed, as OriginOS 6 is feature-rich but comes with noticeable bloatware, ads, and pre-installed third-party apps that require manual removal.
Camera performance is basic, with video recording limited to 1080p, which disappoints users expecting higher standards. Buyers must be careful regarding the software version, as gray-market units running the Chinese version of OriginOS lack Google services and Bangla language support. While the display is vibrant and the build quality is durable with an IP68/IP69 rating, the lack of an SD card slot and the presence of ads make this a polarizing choice for daily use.

Exceptional battery and display are offset by a weak Unisoc chipset and basic camera processing/video limitations. Scores are mined from published reviews and owner reports, not from our own testing.

THE classic trap: global Vivo runs Funtouch (plain, light-ish), CN runs OriginOS (prettier, heavier, deeply integrated Chinese services, NO Google preinstalled, no Bangla, OTA updates only from CN servers). OriginOS units in BD = gray CN imports; gorgeous UI but daily friction for Google-centric users.
Bloatware and ads.
First party and third party quite a few apps you have to uninstall.
Limited video capabilities.
iqoo got 4k and this only got 1080, what a low budget standard
No SD card slot.
Another e-garbage from Vivo, without SD card slot
Overpriced for the chipset.
Unisoc? are you serious about this vivo? if it was around 90 dollars or lower i think its normal

Yes, the phone features an industry-leading 8100 mAh battery. Owners rate the battery performance at 9.8 out of 10, noting that it provides exceptional two-day endurance for typical users.
The Unisoc T7300 chipset is adequate for daily tasks but struggles with heavy loads. Owners have given the gaming performance a low rating of 4.5 out of 10, suggesting it is not ideal for demanding games.
Official units come with brand warranty and Funtouch OS. Gray-import units are built for China, run OriginOS, lack Google services, do not support Bangla, and have no manufacturer warranty coverage in Bangladesh.
The global Funtouch OS version typically receives 3 OS updates on upper models and 2 OS updates on budget models. Please note that Chinese-market units rely on OTA updates only from Chinese servers.
