Review sources ↓What works well4
- 5000 mAh battery lasts two days
- 90 Hz refresh rate display
- Headphone jack and FM radio
- Large 6.75 inch screen
Reported trade-offs4
- 10 W charging is very slow
- Unisoc T7200 struggles with apps
- Camera quality is poor
- APK installation blocked by software
Why we say that
The 5000 mAh battery can stretch to two days, but the 10 W charger takes a long time to refill it. The 6.75‑inch IPS LCD shows a smooth 90 Hz motion, yet the 720p resolution looks dim in bright light. The Unisoc T7200 chipset feels sluggish, causing keyboard lag and frequent app crashes, especially in games.
The 13 MP rear camera produces poor pictures and the 5 MP selfie lens sometimes looks better. Android 15 runs on MyOS with medium ads and blocks unknown APKs, so installing some apps is impossible. Official units at ৳12,800 include a brand warranty, while cheaper gray imports lack any manufacturer cover and require paid repairs.

Overall it works as a basic backup device but struggles with performance and software flexibility.

Can I play games smoothly on the ZTE A36?
The phone uses a Unisoc T7200 chip that is considered bottom‑of‑the‑barrel for gaming. Users report severe keyboard lag, frequent app crashes and overall unsmooth performance, making it unsuitable for demanding games.
