Infinix Hot 30i Is it worth buying?
The Infinix Hot 30i is a budget device that struggles with long-term reliability and performance consistency.
- Choose it if
- Buy this phone only if you need a very cheap device for basic daily tasks and do not mind slow charging or preloaded software.
- Consider alternatives if
- You play games, care about camera quality, or want a device that will remain reliable for more than a year.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- Reliable 5000 mAh battery endurance
- Adequate 90Hz IPS display panel
- Affordable ৳10,299 official price
- Includes a headphone jack and FM radio
Reported trade-offs4
- Fingerprint sensor often stops working
- Poor camera quality lacking detail
- Heavy bloatware and notification ads
- Performance degrades rapidly under load
Why we say that
While the 5000 mAh battery provides reliable endurance for basic daily tasks, the overall experience is hampered by significant software issues including heavy bloatware and persistent notification ads. Owners frequently report that the fingerprint sensor stops working entirely, and the device performance degrades rapidly under load. The camera quality is consistently described as poor and lacking detail, making it a difficult choice for photography.
Because the phone was released in 2023, you should expect little to no remaining software update life. The plastic build feels fragile, and the 18W charging is slow, requiring significant time to reach full capacity. While the 90Hz display is adequate for the price, the limited peak brightness makes outdoor visibility challenging.

If you prioritize a phone that remains fast and functional over several years, this device will likely disappoint you as performance drops significantly over time.
