Infinix Hot 50i Is it worth buying?

Review sources ↓What works well4
- 6.7 inch 120 Hz IPS LCD
- 48 MP main camera for bright scenes
- 5000 mAh battery capacity
- Headphone jack and FM radio
Reported trade-offs4
- Frequent system crashes and ads
- Battery drains fast and overheats while charging
- Gaming performance is laggy and crashes
- Network drops and restarts often
Why we say that
The 6.7 inch IPS LCD is bright and smooth, and the 48 MP sensor can capture decent photos in good light. The 5000 mAh cell provides a full day of light use, but heavy tasks drain it fast and charging is painfully slow, often overheating. The Helio G81 chipset struggles with demanding games, leading to lag and occasional crashes.
Software runs on Android 14 with XOS 14.5, but users report many pre‑installed apps, ads and system UI crashes. Network stability is also an issue, with occasional restarts. There is no manufacturer warranty; any repair must be paid for.

Updates are limited to one or two Android versions and arrive slowly. Overall, the phone works for basic daily tasks if you accept its instability.

What is the Infinix Hot 50i price in Bangladesh?
The last price we recorded for Infinix Hot 50i in Bangladesh was ৳13,999, checked 17 Oct 2026. No shop we track has it in stock right now.
How long does the battery last in daily use?
The 5000 mAh cell can last a full day with light use, but owners notice rapid drain during heavier tasks and report that charging is slow, with only about 1 % gain in ten minutes and occasional overheating.
Will this phone run games smoothly?
The Helio G81 chipset struggles with demanding games; users report frequent lag, frame drops and occasional crashes, rating gaming performance around three and a half out of ten. Simple casual games may run, but heavy titles are unreliable.
How good is the camera in low light?
The 48 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture captures decent photos in bright conditions, but in low‑light situations the images become noisy and lack detail, reflecting the modest camera rating of six out of ten from owners.
Does this phone get official warranty or updates?
All listings are gray imports, so there is no manufacturer warranty in Bangladesh; the shop may offer limited after‑sale support but any repair costs are out of pocket. Software updates are limited to one or two Android versions and arrive slowly.
