The Infinix Hot 70 is a device defined by its massive battery life, but it is held back by significant compromises in display quality and software experience.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Owners consistently report that the 720p resolution is unacceptable for a phone at this price point, making the screen feel outdated. While the 6000 mAh battery provides exceptional endurance, the daily experience is marred by heavy bloatware and persistent notification ads within XOS 16. Performance is adequate for basic tasks, yet the Helio G100 chipset struggles with throttling during gaming sessions.
Users are particularly frustrated by the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack, which many consider a standard requirement for budget devices in 2026. The camera system is basic, often failing to capture sufficient detail in low-light conditions or manage dynamic range effectively. While the official warranty and sturdy IP65 build offer some peace of mind, the base model with 4GB of RAM suffers from noticeable lag during simple games and multitasking.
