Realme Narzo 50A Prime Is it worth buying?
Expect frequent lag and fast battery drain despite the large 5000 mAh cell.

Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- Large 6.6 inch display
- 50 MP main camera sensor
- 5000 mAh battery capacity
- Headphone jack
Reported trade-offs4
- Frequent lag and freezing
- Battery drains quickly
- Display blackouts and low brightness
- Software bloatware and ads
Why we say that
The phone feels sluggish in everyday use and often freezes when you open apps or try to play a game. Charging is slow and the battery seems to run out quickly, which contradicts the advertised capacity. The 6.6‑inch IPS LCD can reach 600 nits at peak, but owners report regular blackouts and low brightness in normal use.
The 50 MP main sensor looks impressive on paper, yet real‑world photos are disappointing, especially in low light. Build quality feels cheap and the device heats up during prolonged use. Software runs Realme UI 2.0 on Android 11 and includes noticeable bloatware and ads.
Read full reasoning
Being a 2022 model, it has already received a few OS updates and is unlikely to receive more. If you can tolerate these issues, the phone still offers a big screen, a big battery, a headphone jack, and a high‑resolution camera at a very low price.
