Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G Is it worth buying?
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G feels like a big‑screen flagship that still fits a mid‑range budget, but you have to watch where you buy it.
- Choose it if
- You want a large, bright screen, fast charging and a strong camera at a mid‑range price and can accept a gray‑import without manufacturer warranty.
- Consider alternatives if
- You need a guaranteed manufacturer warranty or want a phone with minimal ads and longer software support.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.

- 6.83 inch AMOLED 120Hz display
- 100W fast charging
- 50MP main camera with OIS
- 9210 mAh battery
Reported trade-offs3
- Gray‑import units lack official warranty
- High amount of pre‑installed ads
- Limited OS updates after purchase
Why we say that
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 drives smooth everyday use and gaming, while the 6.83 inch AMOLED panel at 120Hz stays bright even in sunlight thanks to a 3500‑nit peak. The 9210 mAh battery usually lasts a full day of mixed use and the 100W charger refills it in under an hour. The 50MP main sensor with OIS captures detailed photos in good light, though low‑light scenes can be noisy.
The phone ships with Android 16 and HyperOS 3, but the budget line carries a lot of ads and only receives 2‑4 major OS updates. Official units cost at least ৳59,999 and include a manufacturer warranty, while cheaper gray‑import listings start at ৳49,990 but have no official cover and require paid repairs.
Prices and stock in Bangladesh
Pick the phone you actually want and the list narrows to the shops selling that exact thing. Stock, variant and colours are what each shop publishes for its own listing — not for the model as a whole.
On 8GB/256GB the official listing costs ৳10,009 more than the same configuration imported — the BD warranty, duty and the seller margins together.

What is the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G price in Bangladesh?
- Unofficial listings
- ৳49,990 – ৳69,999
- Official listings
- ৳59,999 – ৳69,999
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G costs ৳49,990 to ৳69,999 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 8 shops we track as of 17 Oct 2026. The official price starts at ৳59,999.
How long will the battery last on a typical day?
The 9210 mAh battery usually lasts a full day of mixed usage such as browsing, video streaming and light gaming. Heavy gaming or high‑brightness settings will reduce the time between charges.
Is the phone good for gaming?
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 provides smooth performance in most mobile games. The 120Hz AMOLED screen shows motion clearly, and the 100W charger can quickly restore battery after long sessions.
How does the camera perform in low light?
The 50MP sensor with f/1.5 aperture and OIS captures clear images in daylight. In low‑light situations the pictures become noisy and lack detail, so a dedicated night mode is limited.
What warranty do I get if I buy the cheapest listing?
The cheapest listing at ৳49,990 is a gray‑import and does not include the brand warranty. Repairs are accepted as paid service, while official units starting at ৳59,999 have the manufacturer warranty.
