Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Is it worth buying?
At ৳17,990 the Galaxy A13 5G gives you a big 6.6‑inch screen, a 5,000 mAh battery and a 50 MP main camera, but you should expect limited software support and no clear warranty.
- Choose it if
- If you want a large screen, big battery and decent camera while staying under ৳18,000 and can live without a warranty.
- Consider alternatives if
- If you need guaranteed software updates, an official warranty, or confirmed 5G connectivity.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
What works well4
- 50 MP main camera with ultrawide lens
- 5,000 mAh battery for all‑day use
- 6.6‑inch PLS LCD display
- Headphone jack for wired audio
Reported trade-offs4
- No official warranty at this price
- Likely no further Android updates
- 5G support not confirmed
- Older Exynos 850 may feel slower
Why we say that
The Exynos 850 chipset handles everyday tasks but can feel slower with heavy apps. The 6.6‑inch PLS LCD is bright enough for most lighting, and the headphone jack lets you keep wired earbuds. Camera results are decent in daylight thanks to the high‑resolution sensor, yet low‑light shots may lack detail.
Android 12 is upgradable to Android 14, but being four years old the phone is near the end of its update window. Overall it works well for basic use, but buyers should be comfortable without an official warranty and with uncertain 5G capability.

What is the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G price in Bangladesh?
The last price we recorded for Samsung Galaxy A13 5G in Bangladesh was ৳17,990, checked 28 Oct 2026. No shop we track has it in stock right now.
Will the Galaxy A13 5G receive future Android updates?
It launched with Android 12 and can be upgraded to Android 14, but being four years old the A‑series typically gets 4‑6 years of updates, so remaining update life is likely short or none.
Is there an official warranty when I buy it for ৳17,990?
The cheapest listing that includes an official warranty is ৳20,990 for the 4 GB/64 GB variant, so the ৳17,990 price does not come with a manufacturer warranty.
How long will the 5,000 mAh battery last in daily use?
The 5,000 mAh battery is sized for a full day of typical use, and the efficient Exynos 850 chipset helps it last through browsing, video, and moderate gaming before needing a charge.
Is the camera usable in low‑light situations?
The phone has a 50 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an ultrawide lens, which can capture detailed photos in good light, yet the older chipset and lack of advanced night‑mode features may limit low‑light performance.
