Tecno Pova 7 Is it worth buying?
The Tecno Pova 7 is a device that prioritizes raw specifications over a refined user experience.
- Choose it if
- You want a large battery and a high refresh rate display for a budget of ৳24,990 and are comfortable managing a device with heavy software ads.
- Consider alternatives if
- You prioritize a premium build, clean software, or a reliable manufacturer warranty for your purchase.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- Large 6000 mAh battery capacity
- Smooth 144Hz IPS LCD display
- Includes useful IR blaster and FM radio
- Capable Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset
Reported trade-offs4
- High levels of bloatware and ads
- Poor build quality and gaming performance
- No wireless charging support
- Only gray-import stock available
Why we say that
While the 6000 mAh battery and 144Hz display look impressive on paper, owners report significant frustrations with the actual build quality and software performance. You will encounter a high amount of bloatware and ads within the HiOS 15 interface, which can make the phone feel cluttered. Owners have rated the gaming and build quality quite low, suggesting that the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset does not translate into a smooth experience for everyone.
The lack of wireless charging is another limitation noted by users. Because this phone is currently only available as gray-import stock, you must be prepared to rely on shop-provided support rather than a manufacturer warranty. You should verify the IMEI and BTRC status with your seller before finalizing your purchase to ensure the device is registered for use on local networks.
