The Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G is a specialized device that prioritizes massive battery life over almost every other aspect of the smartphone experience.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓While the 8000 mAh battery provides unmatched multi-day endurance for normal users, living with this phone requires accepting significant compromises. Owners frequently report frustration with the heavy and ad-prone HiOS 16 software, which comes cluttered with bloatware that consumes storage over time. The build quality feels hollow and lacks premium density, with some users noting that the chassis can dent under pressure.
Media consumption is decent thanks to the bright 144Hz AMOLED display, but the experience is hampered by the inclusion of only a single bottom-firing speaker. Photography is another major pain point, as the 50MP main lens lacks OIS, ultrawide, or telephoto capabilities, leading to poor processing results. Performance is strictly entry-midrange, meaning the Dimensity 7100 chipset struggles with sustained heavy gaming and frame drops.
At a price point between ৳35,499 and ৳36,999, many buyers find the lack of versatile hardware and premium features difficult to justify.
