Strongest on display · 8.0/10 in published reviews and owner reports
Living with the Tecno Spark 40 Pro reveals a device that prioritizes display quality over long term reliability.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate is the standout feature, offering brightness and uniform bezels that owners rate highly. However, the user experience is marred by significant software issues including high ad volume and a lack of future updates. Owners report that the device suffers from performance throttling during heavy gaming sessions due to heat.
Battery health is a major concern, with users noting a drop in capacity after only three months of use. While the 50MP camera sensor is present, it lacks the necessary tuning to produce high quality results. The build quality feels good initially but owners report it is not durable over time.
You are essentially paying for a bright screen while accepting compromises in software support, gaming stability, and hardware longevity.
