Vivo V29e 5G Is it worth buying?
The Vivo V29e 5G is a 2023 device that now faces significant limitations regarding its software lifespan and market availability.
- Choose it if
- You prioritize a high-resolution selfie camera and a bright display and are comfortable managing a device without official brand support.
- Consider alternatives if
- You require long-term software updates or a reliable manufacturer warranty for your purchase.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
What works well4
- Bright 1150 nits AMOLED display
- Main camera features OIS
- High resolution 50MP selfie camera
- Generous 256GB internal storage
Reported trade-offs4
- Only gray-import stock available
- Limited remaining software update life
- Contains medium levels of bloatware and ads
- No manufacturer warranty
Why we say that
Living with this phone means relying on a 6.67 inch AMOLED display that hits 1150 nits of peak brightness, which is helpful for outdoor visibility. While the 64MP main camera includes OIS for stability, the device is now three years old, meaning you should expect little to no remaining software support. You will likely encounter medium levels of bloatware and ads within the Funtouch 13 interface.
Because only gray-import stock is currently available, you must be prepared to rely on shop-provided support rather than a manufacturer warranty. Always verify the IMEI and BTRC status with your seller before handing over your ৳34,490 to ensure the device is registered for use on local networks.
