Strongest on display · 8.5/10 in published reviews and owner reports
If you want a bright, high‑refresh display and strong cameras at a sub‑official‑warranty price, the Vivo V40 5G delivers that but leaves you with a visible punch‑hole and no warranty.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 6.78‑inch AMOLED panel runs at 120 Hz and can reach 4500 nits, making it easy to see outdoors. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 paired with 12 GB RAM gives smooth everyday performance and handles most apps without lag. Photos are sharp and night‑mode shots are impressive thanks to the 50 MP main sensor and the same‑resolution selfie camera.
Battery life is average; the 5500 mAh cell lasts a day for most users and refills quickly with 80 W charging. Owners note the punch‑hole design as a visual drawback and the lack of an official warranty at this price point. Software includes Funtouch OS with medium bloat and two to three Android updates depending on the model.
