If you can live without Google services and a brand warranty, the Xiaomi 17 Pro gives flagship performance at a gray import price.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 6.3 inch LTPO AMOLED panel is bright and smooth, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip keeps games and apps running fast. Battery life is solid thanks to a 6300 mAh silicon carbon cell, and the 100 W charger refills it quickly. The main 50 MP camera captures decent photos, but the processing is not as refined as top flagships and the wide angle lens has no optical stabilization.
The phone runs HyperOS, which comes with a lot of preinstalled ads and limited language options, and the Chinese ROM lacks Google apps and Bangla support. There is no official Xiaomi warranty, only the shop's limited coverage, so any repair will cost extra. Overall it feels like a high‑end device with some software compromises.

Get my pick →Xiaomi 17 Pro costs ৳91,966 to ৳1,29,999 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 5 shops we track as of 28 Oct 2026.
The 6300 mAh silicon carbon battery gives excellent endurance and easily lasts a full day of mixed use such as browsing, video streaming and gaming. When it does run low, the 100 W wired charger refills it in about half an hour.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset delivers top tier sustained performance, earning a 9.2 gaming rating. It handles demanding titles and eSports sessions smoothly, though prolonged play may raise device temperature.
The 50 MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS captures decent low light photos, but the image processing is not as refined as premium flagships, giving a camera rating of 7.2. The 50 MP ultra wide lens lacks OIS, so its low light results are weaker.
There is no official Xiaomi manufacturer warranty for gray import units; you only receive the shop’s limited warranty and any repair will be paid. Software updates are limited to three or four Android versions and four to five security patches, and the Chinese ROM lacks Google apps and Bangla language support.
