Buying verdict
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra delivers flagship performance and a blinding display, but its battery and camera software quirks can be frustrating.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 6.9‑inch LTPO AMOLED panel reaches 3500 nits, making outdoor use easy, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 keeps games running at high frame rates without throttling. 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage feel spacious, and the 90 W charger refills the 6000 mAh cell quickly. In real life, the battery drains noticeably fast when you push the phone with gaming or heavy camera work, and owners report inconsistent endurance.
The main camera hardware is excellent, yet aggressive image processing produces oversharpened pictures, color shifts, and shaky video because stabilization is weak. Software runs HyperOS 3, which is feature‑rich but cluttered and shows ads in system apps. The device arrives as a gray‑import with only a shop‑provided warranty, so you must verify IMEI and BTRC status before buying.

Elite sensor hardware and Leica optics are undermined by poor video stabilization, aggressive sharpening, and inconsistent software reliability. Scores are mined from published reviews and owner reports, not from our own testing.

CN ROM: no Google preinstalled (sideloadable), no Bangla language pack, aggressive Chinese cloud/services, bootloader unlock now heavily restricted so converting to global ROM is hard. Buy global ROM units.
shop warranty instead of brand warranty; confirm IMEI/BTRC status with the seller.
Poor video stabilization on main camera.
The main camera transmits even the slightest movement of the fingers to the image.
Aggressive image sharpening and processing.
It's oversharpened, the colors are way off, everything feels way off.
Inconsistent battery life.
This is one of the shortest results that I've had from any flagship.
Camera app resets settings.
when I close the camera app, and then reopen it again, it's back to 12 every single time.

Get my pick →Xiaomi 17 Ultra costs ৳1,34,990 to ৳1,56,999 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 2 shops we track as of 11 Sep 2026.
The phone packs a 6000 mAh cell, but owners say it underperforms and drains quickly during gaming or heavy camera work. Battery life is inconsistent and rated only 6 out of 10, so expect shorter endurance than the capacity suggests.
No. All listings are gray‑import units, so the phone comes without any manufacturer warranty in Bangladesh. The only protection is the shop‑provided warranty, and any repairs must be paid for by the owner.
It ships with Android 16 and HyperOS 3 and is upgradable to Android 17. Xiaomi promises about three to four major OS upgrades and four to five security patches, but the software layer is heavy with ads.
The 50 MP sensor and Leica colour tuning give strong hardware results, but aggressive processing makes images oversharpened and colour‑shifted. Video stabilization is weak, so even slight hand movement appears in the footage, and the app often resets settings.
