The Pixel 9 Pro feels like a premium Android phone with a fast display and clean software, but its battery and screen durability fall short for many users. Daily use is smooth thanks to the Google Tensor G4 and 12 GB RAM, and the 6.3‑inch LTPO OLED screen delivers vivid colors and up to 120 Hz refresh. Software updates are generous, with Android 14 out of the box and up to seven major upgrades promised. However, owners notice the 4700 mAh battery drains quickly under heavy use and the screen can develop scratches despite Gorilla Glass. The low‑frequency PWM dimming also causes eye strain for some, especially at night. Overall, it is a solid flagship for those who value a pure Android experience and a top‑class display, but it may disappoint if you need long gaming sessions or a highly resilient screen.
Buy it if Buy if you want a fast, clean Android experience with a premium display and long software support.
Skip it if Skip if you need a phone that lasts long in games or has a highly scratch‑resistant screen.

Low PWM dimming causing eye strain.
The display felt uncomfortable. After some research, I found it uses very low 240Hz PWM, which certainly strain the eyes, especially for nighttime use.
Scratches on the screen.
The build quality - the screen in particular - despite of having the newest Gorilla glass gets scratches from basically existing - phone is carried in a pocket with no other items that could damage it and any of 'cheaper' pixels was not even half as bad as this one.
Google Pixel 9 Pro costs ৳74,999 to ৳93,990 in Bangladesh, in stock at 4 shops we track as of 2026-07-28.
The phone ships with Android 14, can be upgraded to Android 16, and is promised up to seven major Android upgrades, matching the seven‑year update track of the Pixel 8+ series.
The 4700 mAh battery provides average endurance; owners rate battery life 6.5 out of 10 and note it can drain quickly when the display is used heavily or for gaming.
The 50 MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS delivers decent photos, but reviews describe the rear camera as only average, and selfies are considered average as well.
Official‑warranty units start at 104,999 taka, while the cheapest gray‑import listings are 74,999 taka. Gray‑import phones typically do not include the official Google warranty, so coverage may be limited.
