Motorola G05 Is it worth buying?
Battery life is the biggest plus, lasting all day on basic tasks.
- Choose it if
- You need a large screen phone with long battery and can accept limited gaming and unofficial warranty.
- Consider alternatives if
- You expect smooth gaming, fast updates, or official warranty support.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- 6.67 inch 90Hz IPS LCD
- 50MP main camera
- 5200 mAh battery with strong endurance
- Headphone jack for wired audio
Reported trade-offs4
- Screen freezes on some apps
- Gaming performance is very weak
- Camera struggles in low light
- No official brand warranty
Why we say that
The 6.67 inch IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh feels smooth for browsing and video, and the 50MP main sensor captures decent daylight shots. Android 15 runs near stock with low bloat, so the system feels clean. Owners praise the sturdy rear feel and the convenience of a headphone jack.
The 5200 mAh cell truly endures, but the Helio G81 Extreme chipset shows its limits in gaming and heavy multitasking. Screen freezes have been reported by several users, and the camera loses detail in low light. There is no official brand warranty; only shop warranty is available and buyers must verify IMEI and BTRC status.

Software updates are expected to be few, with only one to three OS upgrades historically. Overall the phone suits budget buyers who value screen size and battery over performance and official support.

What reviewers said on YouTube
8 reviews · 380K viewsThe Moto G05 is a strictly entry-level phone that nails battery life and design but struggles with a weak processor and very slow charging. It is an excellent secondary device or basic daily driver if you only need the bare essentials.

Praising the low price and stylish smudge-free design, this review highlights the phone's absolute marvel of a battery life. However, it strongly criticizes the incredibly sluggish performance, dim screen, basic camera, and heavy presence of pre-installed bloatware, concluding it is best suited as an emergency backup or handed down to children.

Moto G05 Review (Indian Variant) - বাজেটে আসলেই কি সেরা ফোন? (opens YouTube)
36K views · Aug 2025Bangla
Reviewing the Indian variant, this channel was impressed by the lightweight design, inclusion of protective display glass, and reliable day-to-day use. Despite lacking a secondary noise-cancellation mic and struggling with heavy gaming, the balanced combination of battery, design, and decent daylight photography makes it a top pick for its price segment.
After 50 days of use, the reviewer found the phone checks all the boxes for design, display, and battery at its ultra-budget price. While performance has minor stutters and the speaker distorts at high volumes, the clean UI and solid daylight camera make it a highly recommended device for parents or as a secondary phone.

Framing it as budget brilliance, the reviewer appreciated the durable eco-leather build, smooth 90Hz display, and fantastic battery longevity. They noted the performance is strictly for light usage and charging is very slow, but ultimately declared it a solid choice for first-time smartphone users on a tight budget.

Motorola Moto g05 Review: Budget phones are getting (a little bit) better! (opens YouTube)
31K views · Mar 2025
Testing the phone against its slightly pricier siblings, this reviewer found it to be a smarter buy despite some severe limitations. While disappointed by the complete lack of future OS updates, rudimentary camera zoom, and basic 720p screen, the phone's impressive battery improvements and included case make it a respectable package for the cost.

What is the Motorola G05 price in Bangladesh?
The last price we recorded for Motorola G05 in Bangladesh was ৳12,499, checked 28 Oct 2026. No shop we track has it in stock right now.
How long does the battery last on everyday use?
The 5200 mAh battery is praised for lasting all day on basic tasks such as browsing, messaging and video playback. Users report it feels like it can run forever when the phone is used lightly.
Can I play games smoothly on this device?
The Helio G81 Extreme chipset is described as unsuitable for gaming. Owners say the performance is very weak and games often lag, so it is not a good choice for heavy mobile gaming.
How does the camera perform in low‑light situations?
The 50MP sensor captures decent photos in daylight, but reviews note it struggles in low light. Details become soft and noise increases, making it a basic utility rather than a strong low‑light performer.
Is there an official warranty or reliable after‑sales support?
No official brand warranty is recorded for this model in Bangladesh. Only shop warranty is offered on gray‑import stock, so buyers should confirm the IMEI and BTRC status with the seller before purchase.
