Strongest on battery · 8.8/10 in published reviews and owner reports
The OPPO Reno12 5G is a device that excels in daily endurance and build quality but falls short for users who prioritize photography.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Owners report that the camera produces inconsistent results with artificial processing and poor low-light performance, specifically noting a lack of detail and blurry selfie shots. While the 5000 mAh battery and 80W charging provide excellent longevity and speed, the software experience is hampered by bloatware and bugs despite the feature-rich ColorOS 14.1. The phone handles daily tasks and light gaming well while staying cool, but it is not a powerhouse for heavy gaming.
You get a vibrant 120Hz AMOLED display and a durable frame with an IP65 rating, yet some users are frustrated by the absence of an IR blaster despite expectations. If you value a reliable battery and a sturdy design over camera precision, this phone serves its purpose, but photography enthusiasts will likely find the output disappointing.
