Redmi 11 Prime Is it worth buying?
Living with the Redmi 11 Prime requires accepting significant compromises as this 2022 device shows its age in daily use.
- Choose it if
- Buy this phone only if you need a basic device for simple tasks and are comfortable managing a gray-import unit without official brand support.
- Consider alternatives if
- You are a gamer, want a reliable battery, or require a device with official warranty coverage and long-term software updates.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.

- Helio G99 chipset
- 90Hz IPS LCD display
- 50MP main camera
- Includes headphone jack and IR blaster
Reported trade-offs4
- Battery drains faster
- Ad-heavy MIUI software
- Not suitable for gaming
- Basic build quality
Why we say that
Owners report that the battery drains faster than expected, which is a major concern given the 5000 mAh capacity. The software experience is hampered by an ad-heavy MIUI interface that includes significant bloatware. Performance is rated poorly by users, specifically regarding gaming, where it is considered not suitable.
The build quality is described as basic, and the display receives low marks from those who use it daily. Because this phone is four years old, you should expect little to no remaining software update life. There is no official brand-backed warranty available in Bangladesh, as all units found are gray-imports.

You must rely solely on shop-provided support and verify the BTRC status of the device before making any payment. This phone is a budget-tier device that reflects its price point through these various limitations.
