Redmi 15 4G Is it worth buying?
The Redmi 15 4G is a device defined by its massive battery, but it forces you to accept significant compromises in performance and usability.
- Choose it if
- You prioritize multi-day battery life above all else and do not mind a heavy, bulky phone for basic daily tasks.
- Consider alternatives if
- You are a gamer, a mobile photographer, or someone who wants a smooth, ad-free software experience.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- Massive 7000 mAh battery
- Bright 144Hz IPS LCD display
- Stays cool under load
- Reliable network signal
Reported trade-offs4
- Heavy and thick build
- Ad-heavy software with UI lag
- Poor low-light camera quality
- Slow 33W charging speed
Why we say that
While the 7000 mAh battery easily lasts one to two days, the phone is physically heavy and thick, making one-handed use uncomfortable. Owners frequently report that the HyperOS interface is heavily burdened with ads, which contributes to noticeable UI lag. The camera performance is a major pain point, with users describing images as noisy and grainy, especially in low-light conditions.
Gaming is equally disappointing, as titles like PUBG or CODM struggle to maintain 20 fps even at the lowest settings. While the device stays cool under load and offers a bright 144Hz display, the muted colors and lack of an AMOLED panel leave much to be desired. Given that the newer Redmi 17 4G is available for a similar price of ৳21,499, this model is difficult to recommend for most buyers.

What is the Redmi 15 4G price in Bangladesh?
- Unofficial listings
- ৳21,990 – ৳24,490
- Official listings
- ৳21,399 – ৳23,999
Redmi 15 4G costs ৳21,399 to ৳22,499 in Bangladesh on official listings, in stock at 5 shops we track as of 28 Oct 2026. The unofficial price starts at ৳21,990.
Is the battery life actually good for daily use?
Yes, the 7000 mAh battery is the standout feature of this phone. Owners report that it comfortably lasts between one and two days on a single charge. However, keep in mind that the 33W charging is quite slow for such a large capacity, taking about two hours to reach full charge.
Can I play games like PUBG or CODM on this phone?
Gaming performance is poor on this device. Owners report that even at the lowest settings, games run at approximately 20 fps with frequent stutters. If you are looking for a phone to play competitive mobile games, this chipset and performance level will likely frustrate you.
How does the camera perform in low light?
The camera is a significant weakness for this model. Users consistently report that images are noisy and grainy, particularly in low-light environments. The overall detail is described as average, and the lack of a secondary microphone for video recording further limits its utility for content creation.
What is the difference between the official and unofficial units?
The official unit comes with a brand warranty, while the cheaper gray-import units have no manufacturer cover. If you buy an unofficial unit, any repairs at a service center will be treated as a paid service. Official units are priced at ৳21,399 for the 6GB/128GB variant.
