Strongest on battery · 9.8/10 in published reviews and owner reports
Samsung Galaxy F34 5G at ৳21,399→The Redmi 17 4G is a device defined by its massive battery, but it suffers from significant performance and display compromises that make it a difficult recommendation.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Owners report that the 6.9-inch screen has such low pixel density that you can count the individual pixels, leading to a poor visual experience. The Helio G91 Ultra chipset is widely considered obsolete and struggles to provide smooth performance, with users noting it lags even during basic tasks. Software is another major pain point, as the HyperOS interface is heavily bloated with ads and struggles to run on the 4GB RAM configuration.
While the 7500 mAh battery offers industry-leading endurance, the overall consensus among buyers is that this model feels like a downgrade compared to previous Redmi releases. If you prioritize raw battery life above all else, it may serve a purpose, but most users will find the lack of processing power and display clarity frustrating for daily use.

On 6GB/128GB the official listing costs ৳1,809 more than the same configuration imported — the BD warranty, duty and the seller margins together.
৳20,690 at Dazzle is lower, but that shop does not report stock for it.

The Redmi 17 stands out for its colossal 7500 mAh battery, large screen, and unique rear RGB notification light, making it great for multi-day basic usage. However, sluggish processing, 4GB base RAM, and barebones cameras make it ill-suited for mobile gaming or photography.

UZZAL TECH STUDIO · Xiaomi Redmi 17 নতুন ফোন কেনার আগে দেখুন | Honest Review ↗
Uzzal Tech Studio found the Redmi 17 to be an attractive option for buyers looking for an expansive 6.9-inch screen, stylish design, and exceptional multi-day battery endurance from its 7500 mAh cell. However, the reviewer expressed disappointment over the slow 5-to-6-second camera launch time and the inclusion of only 4GB of physical RAM at its price point, concluding that while it is great for casual media consumption, users looking for gaming power or quick photography should choose an alternative.
Jacky YBT · Xiaomi Redmi 17 5G First Look & Hands On! ↗
Jacky YBT concluded that the Redmi 17 5G is a functional entry-level phone packed with practical utility, highlighting its massive 7500 mAh battery, reverse power-bank charging, stereo speakers, and customizable rear RGB lighting. On the other hand, he noted major budget compromises including a low 720p display resolution with a thick chin, a very basic camera setup limited to 1080p 30fps recording, and a low-end processor that requires lowest graphical settings in games.
