Redmi Note 17 4G Is it worth buying?
If you need a huge battery and a bright AMOLED screen, the Redmi Note 17 4G delivers that at a mid range price.
- Choose it if
- You want a big screen, long battery and can accept a 4G only device.
- Consider alternatives if
- You need guaranteed official warranty or a phone with 5G.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
What works well4
- 7700 mAh battery lasts long
- 6.99 inch AMOLED with 1800 nits peak
- 45 W fast charging fills quickly
- 50 MP main camera in daylight
Reported trade-offs4
- CN ROM lacks Google and Bangla apps
- Gray import units have no manufacturer warranty
- HyperOS shows many ads
- No 5G support
Why we say that
The 6.99 inch display runs at 120 Hz and can reach a peak brightness of 1800 nits, so outdoor use is clear. The 7700 mAh cell usually lasts a full day of heavy use and often stretches to two days with moderate use, while the 45 W charger refills it quickly. Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 handles everyday apps and moderate gaming without major lag.
The 50 MP main camera captures sharp photos in daylight but struggles in low light. HyperOS shows many ads and the China ROM lacks Google services and Bangla support, which can be a hassle. Official warranty only applies to the official unit priced at ৳31,490, while cheaper gray imports have no manufacturer cover and any repair is paid.

The phone does not support 5G, so network speed is limited to 4G.
Prices and stock in Bangladesh
Pick the phone you actually want and the list narrows to the shops selling that exact thing. Stock, variant and colours are what each shop publishes for its own listing — not for the model as a whole.
On 6GB/128GB the official listing costs ৳5,500 more than the same configuration imported — the BD warranty, duty and the seller margins together.

Before you buy
Some sellers here list the China-market version (HyperOS CN), others the global one. Check which build you are buying
Same as Xiaomi: CN ROM lacks Google + Bangla, conversion difficult now. Many BD gray Redmis are CN units — check before buying.

What is the Redmi Note 17 4G price in Bangladesh?
- Unofficial listings
- ৳27,299 – ৳32,999
- Official listings
- ৳31,490 – ৳36,999
Redmi Note 17 4G costs ৳27,299 to ৳36,499 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 9 shops we track as of 17 Oct 2026. The official price starts at ৳31,490.
How long will the battery last on a typical day?
Battery 7700 mAh can easily cover a full day of heavy use and often reaches two days with moderate use. 45 W charger refills to 50 percent in about 15 minutes, so you rarely run out.
Is the phone good for gaming?
Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 handles most Android games at medium settings, and the 120 Hz AMOLED display makes motion look smooth. Heavy titles may drop frames, but casual gaming runs fine.
How does the camera perform in low light?
The 50 MP sensor with f/1.8 works well in bright conditions, but in dim environments the 1/2.76 inch sensor struggles and images become noisy. The 16 MP selfie camera has similar limitations.
What warranty do I get when I buy the cheapest listing?
Official listings at ৳31,490 for the 6 GB 128 GB model include the brand warranty, but only for the official unit. The cheapest ৳27,299 gray import has no manufacturer cover and any repair is paid.
