Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Is it worth buying?
Expect a bright, large screen and decent daylight photos, but be ready for constant overheating and lag.
- Choose it if

Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓What works well4
- 6.7 inch Super AMOLED with 90Hz refresh
- 8GB RAM for everyday multitasking
- 5000 mAh battery lasts a full day
- 50 MP main camera captures bright daylight photos
Reported trade-offs4
- Severe overheating and performance throttling
- Frequent UI lag and need to restart
- Network registration and hotspot instability
- No official warranty, repairs are paid
Why we say that
The Galaxy A16 5G offers a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED panel that reaches 800 nits and runs at 90Hz, making everyday scrolling pleasant. Its 8GB RAM and 256GB storage feel adequate for typical apps, and the 5000 mAh battery can survive a full day of moderate use. The 50 MP main sensor captures sharp images in good light, yet it lacks optical stabilization and struggles after dark.
Under load the Exynos 1330 chipset heats up, causing performance throttling and UI stutters that often require a restart. Network registration and hotspot connections are reported as unstable. The phone arrives as a gray import with no official Samsung warranty, so any repair will be paid out of pocket.

What is the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G price in Bangladesh?
- Unofficial listings
- ৳27,990
- Official listings
- ৳22,699 – ৳30,999
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G costs ৳27,990 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 1 shop we track as of 28 Oct 2026.
Will the battery last all day with normal use?
The 5000 mAh battery provides good endurance and can easily last a full day of typical usage. Charging is limited to 25W and no charger is included, so refilling the battery is slower than many competitors.
Can I play games smoothly on this phone?
Gaming performance is weak. Owners report severe lag, frequent overheating and poor sustained performance under load. The device scores low on gaming ratings, so it is not suitable for demanding games.
How does the camera perform in low light?
The 50 MP sensor delivers good daylight stills, but it lacks optical image stabilization and low‑light processing. Night shots are noisy and lack detail, and the phone does not support 4K video.
Does this phone come with an official Samsung warranty in Bangladesh?
No. The phone is a gray import and carries no manufacturer warranty in Bangladesh. Only the shop’s own promise applies and any repair work must be paid for by the owner.
