The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G is a device that struggles with basic performance and battery longevity despite its high-quality display.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Owners frequently report severe battery drain that requires multiple charges throughout the day. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset often fails to keep up, resulting in UI stutters, sluggish multitasking, and noticeable lag. Users also highlight that the device heats up during simple tasks like video recording or light gaming.
While the build quality and IP67 rating are solid, the software experience is currently hampered by animation bugs. Many owners express frustration with the lack of a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Given that the newer Galaxy A37 5G is available for about ৳36,499, this model is difficult to recommend for those seeking a reliable daily driver.

SamZone concludes that while the phone features a great display and premium UI experience, it remains overpriced for what it offers. He highlights that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is too weak for serious gaming and criticizes the thick bezels and lack of camera improvements, advising buyers to wait for further price drops.
GSMArena Official finds the A36 to be a dependable device with a durable glass build, excellent long-term software support, and a bright screen. However, they lament the removal of the MicroSD slot and suggest that older or slightly more expensive Samsung models currently offer better value until the price settles.
