Strongest on display · 8.5/10 in published reviews and owner reports
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is a risky purchase today because owners report severe hardware failures following recent software updates.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓While the 120Hz Super AMOLED display remains a highlight for outdoor visibility, the Exynos 1280 chipset struggles with performance and overheating. Many users experience significant lag and bottlenecks after updating to Android 15, with some even reporting total motherboard corruption. The camera system produces oversaturated images, and the ultrawide lens is notably weak.
You must also account for the fact that no charger is included in the box, and the fingerprint scanner is often unresponsive. Given that this model was released in 2022, it is nearing the end of its support cycle, making the reported software-induced slowdowns particularly concerning for long-term reliability. If you prioritize a stable device that will not fail after a system update, this phone is difficult to recommend.

On 8GB/128GB the official listing costs ৳14,000 more than the same configuration imported. That gap is the BD warranty, duty and seller margins.
