Strongest on display · 8.0/10 in published reviews and owner reports
The Tecno Camon 40 is a slim device that offers a vibrant display and a capable main camera, but it struggles with thermal management and software clutter.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓Living with this phone means dealing with a 5200 mAh battery that some owners report drains rapidly alongside overheating issues. While the 120Hz AMOLED screen is bright and the 50MP OIS camera performs well for photos, the user experience is hampered by persistent bloatware and an ad-heavy interface. Performance is sufficient for daily tasks, yet gamers will notice lag during intense sessions in titles like PUBG.
The 45W charging speed is functional but slower than the previous model. Owners have given the phone mixed ratings, particularly regarding ease of use and gaming performance. If you prioritize a slim build and a good screen over software cleanliness and heavy gaming, this device might suit your needs, provided you are prepared to manage the reported battery and heat concerns.
