Strongest on display · 8.0/10 in published reviews and owner reports
The Tecno Phantom V Flip is a fragile device that struggles with basic reliability and long-term durability.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓While the 6.9 inch foldable display offers a decent visual experience, owners report significant issues including a screen that does not open flat and visible bleed at the folding area after only three months of use. Performance is powered by the Dimensity 8050 chipset, but users note the frame becomes scorching hot during heavy gaming sessions. The software experience is hindered by high levels of bloatware and intrusive ads, and the device is now three years old, meaning you should expect little to no remaining software support.
Battery life is a major pain point, with reports indicating it fails to last 12 hours. Combined with complaints about poor touchscreen quality and a lack of ingress protection, this phone presents a high risk for anyone looking for a daily driver that will last.
