Samsung A04e Is it worth buying?
Battery life is the biggest advantage you will notice day to day.
- Choose it if
- You need a cheap phone with long battery life and basic camera performance.
- Consider alternatives if
- You expect fast performance, 5G connectivity or long‑term Android updates.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
What works well4
- 5000 mAh battery lasts all day
- 6.5‑inch PLS LCD is bright
- Headphone jack lets you use wired earbuds
- Low bloat and few ads
Reported trade-offs3
- Software updates likely ended soon
- Helio P35 struggles with demanding games
- 13 MP camera lacks low‑light detail
Why we say that
The 5000 mAh cell keeps the screen on for many hours even with the 6.5‑inch PLS LCD drawing power. The phone runs Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 and feels clean because bloat and ads are low. Everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing and video streaming run smoothly enough for a budget device.
Owners complain that the Helio P35 chipset cannot handle heavy games and that the 13 MP camera becomes noisy in low light. Because the model was released in 2022, Samsung’s usual four‑to‑six year update window is almost finished, so you should not expect new Android versions or security patches. The lack of 5G and a modest 5 MP selfie sensor also limit its appeal for power users.

Overall it works well for basic use but shows its age in performance and software support.

What is the Samsung A04e price in Bangladesh?
The last price we recorded for Samsung A04e in Bangladesh was ৳15,690, checked 28 Oct 2026. No shop we track has it in stock right now.
How long will the Samsung A04e receive Android updates?
The phone launched in 2022 and Samsung usually gives A‑series devices four to six years of updates. Being four years old means there is little or no update support left, so new Android versions are unlikely.
Will the 5000 mAh battery last me through a full day?
Yes, the large battery combined with the modest Helio P35 processor and a 6.5‑inch LCD can easily keep the phone running for a full day of typical use, even with the screen on for several hours.
Can I play demanding games on this phone?
The Helio P35 and 3 GB RAM handle casual games without trouble, but demanding titles will show lag, lower frame rates and occasional stutter, so it is not suited for high‑end gaming.
How does the camera perform in low‑light conditions?
The 13 MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture captures decent photos in daylight, but in low‑light situations the images become noisy and lack detail, making it less reliable for night photography.
