Huawei Mate X7 at ৳1,84,999→If you can live without a Bangladeshi manufacturer warranty and can stretch to a six‑figure price, the Fold8 Ultra offers a spectacular 8‑inch display and a 200 MP camera.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 8.0‑inch LTPO AMOLED panel reaches 3000 nits peak brightness and feels thin, light, and sturdy thanks to a durable hinge. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 delivers flagship‑level speed, but the missing vapor chamber causes heating and occasional throttling during long gaming sessions. The 5000 mAh battery is helped by efficiency tweaks yet still feels tight for such a large screen, and 45 W charging feels modest compared with other 2026 flagships.
The main sensor captures detailed photos, but the 3× telephoto is a plain lens without a periscope, and there is no S‑Pen support. Software runs One UI 9 on Android 17 with up to seven years of OS upgrades, and the shop‑provided warranty is the only protection you get.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra brings excellent refinements like an anti-reflective screen, better battery life, and an upgraded ultrawide camera, cementing its position as a top-tier foldable. However, its tendency to run hot and the stubbornly outdated telephoto lens hold it back from true perfection.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra Review: Is It Still Hip To Be Square? (opens YouTube)
MrMobile appreciated the Fold8 Ultra as the most refined book-style foldable to date, specifically highlighting its usability as a portable pocket tablet. He praised the new anti-reflective main display and the much-improved main and ultrawide cameras, which performed beautifully on his trip to Alaska. However, he noted that the phone still runs a bit hot, the color options are uninspired, and the telephoto lens remains disappointingly weak for a device with such a massive price tag.
TechSci Guy highlighted the highly practical aspect ratio and robust multi-window capabilities of the new Fold 8 series. He noted key improvements like the protective anti-reflective display and the incredibly bright screen, alongside the durable titanium design and the brand new ultra-wide angle lens that enhances the overall camera experience.
Tech Spurt · Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Review | Worth it vs Z Fold 7? ↗
Tech Spurt found the Z Fold8 Ultra to be incredibly durable, easily surviving an accidental drop into a hard ceramic tub. He lauded the improved battery life from the new silicon-carbon technology and praised the upgraded anti-reflective screen that excels in bright sunlight. On the downside, he criticized several frustrating software bugs, the poor screen dimming technology that could cause eye strain, the phone's tendency to overheat during intensive gaming, and the fact that the telephoto camera hasn't received a desperately needed upgrade.

Lack of periscope telephoto lens.
So does it still have that awful 3x telephoto and no periscope?
No S-Pen support.
It's insane to not have a stylus for a folding phone.

Get my pick →Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra costs ৳1,83,990 to ৳2,01,999 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 6 shops we track as of 17 Oct 2026.
The 5000 mAh cell is helped by Snapdragon 8 Elite efficiency, but the 8‑inch screen drains fast. Reviewers rate battery life 7.2 out of 10 and say it feels tight for a full day of mixed use.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 gives top‑tier speed, and performance scores are 9.2. However, the missing vapor chamber leads to heating and occasional thermal throttling, so long gaming sessions may feel laggy.
The 200 MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS captures detailed images, and reviewers praise its quality. The 3× telephoto is a simple lens, not a periscope, and performs modestly in low‑light situations.
All listings are gray‑import, so the phone comes with only the shop’s warranty and no Samsung service in Bangladesh. Software runs One UI 9 on Android 17 and promises up to seven major OS upgrades.
