Reported trade-offs4

- No official Apple warranty
Why we say that
The A14 Bionic chip delivers smooth performance for everyday apps and most games, and the 6.1‑inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen stays bright even in sunlight thanks to 1200‑nit peak brightness. The triple‑camera setup produces sharp photos in good light and decent low‑light shots, though the small 2815 mAh battery often needs a charge before the day ends. Because the phone is six years old, Apple will likely stop major iOS upgrades soon, and the only warranty available is a shop‑provided one that must be verified via IMEI and BTRC status.
Owners appreciate the premium feel but complain about the limited future software support and the need to double‑check warranty authenticity. Overall it works well for current iOS needs but may feel dated in a few years.

How long does the battery last on a typical day?
The 2815 mAh battery usually lasts less than a full day with heavy use such as gaming or video streaming, and may need a charge by evening if you use the phone intensively.
Is the iPhone 12 Pro still receiving iOS updates?
The phone launched with iOS 14.1 and can be upgraded to iOS 26.6, but being six years old it is expected to receive only a few more major updates before support ends.
Does the camera perform well in low‑light conditions?
The 12 MP main sensor with f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization captures usable low‑light photos, but the small sensor size means images are not as bright or detailed as newer models.
What warranty is available for the gray‑import version?
The gray‑import stock comes with a shop‑provided warranty only; there is no manufacturer warranty, so you should confirm the IMEI and BTRC status with the seller before purchase.
