If you want a phone with a brilliant 120 Hz OLED screen and a fast iOS experience, the iPhone Air delivers that but you will pay for its compromises.
Based on published reviews and owner reports.
Review sources ↓The 6.5‑inch LTPO Super Retina XDR panel is bright, smooth and easy on the eyes, and the A19 Pro chip makes everyday tasks feel instant. Photos are sharp thanks to the 48 MP main sensor, though the lack of ultrawide or telephoto lenses limits creative options. iOS 26 runs cleanly without bloatware and receives regular updates for several years.
Real‑world use reveals a small 3,149 mAh battery that often needs a top‑up before the day ends, and the device gets noticeably hot during long gaming sessions, causing the processor to throttle. Audio comes from a single flat speaker and data transfer is limited to USB 2.0. The cheaper gray‑import listings save money but lack Apple’s official warranty, meaning repairs are paid out of pocket.
Overall the phone feels premium but may feel overpriced for the trade‑offs.

On 256GB the official listing costs ৳52,509 more than the same configuration imported. That gap is the BD warranty, duty and seller margins.

Thermal throttling.
The back of the phone was heating up a lot... it's gotta be throttling down that chip.
Single speaker quality.
Sound is flat, thin and lacking in bass.
USB 2.0 transfer speeds.
It misses out on the faster USB 3.2 transfer speeds... It just uses USB 2.0.
No physical SIM slot.
This is, again, in an effort to make enough room for the battery, they're just getting rid of the slot.

Get my pick →Apple iPhone Air costs ৳1,12,990 to ৳1,45,000 in Bangladesh on unofficial listings, in stock at 8 shops we track as of 28 Oct 2026. The official price starts at ৳1,64,999.
The 3,149 mAh battery is relatively small for a 6.5‑inch phone, so most users report it struggles to last a full day of mixed use and needs to be charged again by evening.
The A19 Pro chipset delivers strong performance and high frame rates, but under sustained gaming the phone heats noticeably and the chip throttles, leading to occasional slowdowns and reduced gaming smoothness.
The 48 MP main sensor with a large 1/1.56″ size and f/1.6 aperture captures decent low‑light shots, yet the lack of an ultrawide or telephoto lens limits versatility and overall image quality.
The gray‑import model costs about ৳1,12,490 and works fine, but it carries no Apple warranty, uses a charger plug for the original market, and any repair will be a paid service at a local centre.
