On the
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (12GB/256GB), buying official cost ৳82,209 more than the import. On 15 of the 67 phones the official unit was the cheaper one. This is the gap between channels, not the price of a warranty: duty, both margins and after-sales service are all inside it.

AnTuTu measures processor and graphics speed and nothing else: not cameras, battery life or software support. Read this as one axis of value, the one that can be measured.

How the figures are made
Every figure is computed from the listings we recorded on the nights a shop read succeeded, compared within one listing or one configuration and channel. We have not held these phones; this is a record of what Bangladeshi shops published.
- Price changes
- Each listing is one shop's offer of one exact configuration. Its first in-stock price of the month is compared with its last; listings read in stock on fewer than two dates are left out, as are listings whose memory size is not stated. One listing, one vote; the band is the listing's first price. Computed from
offer_observations.price_bdt,offer_observations.stock_state,offer_observations.quality_status,observation_batches.observed_at,observed_offers.configuration_id,observed_offers.model_id. - Official vs import
- Same phone, same configuration, both channels. Each channel's monthly price is the median of its daily lowest in-stock price, and needs 3 read dates. Premium = (official - import) / import. Popular = carried in stock by the most shops this month; we have no sales figures. Computed from
offer_observations.price_bdt,observed_offers.channel,observed_offers.configuration_id,observation_batches.source,observation_batches.observed_at. - Recent launches
- A box is one exact configuration on one channel. Its lowest in-stock price at any shop on the month's first read is compared with the same on its last. Recent = released, per the spec sheet, in the 6 calendar months up to this one. A move under 4% or ৳700 is not counted, nor is a box under ৳8,000. Computed from
offer_observations.price_bdt,observation_batches.observed_at,observed_offers.configuration_id,observed_offers.channel,phones.specs:specs_raw.status. - Cheapest 5G
- Every 5G phone (per its spec sheet) is priced at its cheapest box's monthly price: the median of that box's daily lowest in-stock price, over at least 3 read dates, so one night's typo or flash sale is not the answer. Computed from
offer_observations.price_bdt,observation_batches.observed_at,observed_offers.configuration_id,phones.specs:net_5g. - Value by band
- Value measured one way: per band, the phone with the highest measured AnTuTu score for its chipset, at its cheapest box's monthly price. Chipsets with no measured run are not ranked (no estimate stands in), and a band needs three measured phones. Computed from
offer_observations.price_bdt,observed_offers.configuration_id,phones.specs:chipset,knowledge/soc_db.json:antutu.total. - Stock
- A handset is in stock on a date when any shop read that date reports a usable in-stock listing for it. The rate is over handsets in stock on at least one date, and its denominator is the dates their shops were read, not calendar days. A shop that does not publish stock counts for nothing either way. Computed from
offer_observations.stock_state,offer_observations.quality_status,observation_batches.observed_at,observed_offers.model_id.
